We cook and eat paella all year round, but without a doubt, our absolute favourites are the outdoor paellas we get to share with friends and family during the delicious Summer season.
Don't restrict your paella-gobbling opportunities to your summer hols on the Spanish Costas though, folks! Why not try making your own, right here at home? In Spain they say there are as many versions of paella as there are Spaniards (even the paella-puritans of Valencia allow for some improvisation!), so why don't you make your own Irish version? Your family will love you for it! And, once you get the gist of it, I'm telling you, the barbeque won't get a look-in!
